Winner of a C&D maiden just over two weeks ago, makes handicap debut in this and should be ready to give this a strong effort.

Hyperlapseb1,t19
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-8| J: Colin Keane| T: G M Lyons| OR:  80| BF
4/1
Has gone close in all three maiden runs, wears first-time blinkers now making handicap debut and capable of being involved, though any rain might be a cause for concern.

Solar Wavee/c24
Age: 2|  Weight: 9-5| J: K J Manning| T: J S Bolger| OR:  77
7/1
Improved on third start in maiden company when clear second over 6f (good) at Fairyhouse, upped in trip for this first foray in handicaps and merits some consideration.

Smiling Eliza27
Age: 2|  Weight: 8-8| J: L F Roche| T: G Elliott| OR:  66
5/1
Has shown promise in four maidens and comes here off decent effort over 7f at Leopardstown last time out, handicap bow and really should get involved off a very workable mark.

All three runs in the spring came over 5f and little to build on there. Returns for this handicap bow over a much longer trip but hard to fancy on evidence shown so far.

Ellona8

Struggled so far in three maidens over this sort of trip and makes limited appeal ahead of his handicap debut.

Forecasts

Outside Inside (1/1), Hyperlapse (4/1), Smiling Eliza (5/1), Solar Wave (7/1), Ellona (16/1), Legatum (16/1)

Verdict

The top three on the card appear best equipped on the evidence to date and recent C&D winner OUTSIDE INSIDE might be the answer. The runner-up from that race has already come out and won since and from a fair opening mark, she can double-up in this. Solar Wave was second last time out over a furlong shorter and can have a say upped in trip while Hyperlapse has plenty going for her, though soft ground might temper enthusiasm given her least convincing effort came with some give underfoot. Smiling Eliza is also worth paying attention to.
  1. Outside Inside
  2. Solar Wave
  3. Smiling Eliza
