Off the mark at the 29th attempt at Southwell last month when winning comfortably. Has his first start for a new yard now and no guarantee he'll back that effort up from this sort of mark judged on his previous efforts over hurdles.

Off the mark in impressive fashion on debut for this yard but gone backwards a little since and well beaten at Salisbury when last seen. Should bounce back at some stage and fit from a recent run on the Flat so can't be dismissed.

Usually a consistent sort since joining this yard but lost his way on recent starts, tailed off the last twice. Falling further in the handicap and yard have hit some good form in recent weeks but probably wouldn't want to see any rain.

Tailed off on two starts for this yard since joining from Tony Martin's stable but had some useful form going back to the start of 2016 and has worked his way down to a more feasible mark after some disappointing performances. Jumping not always the best but should run well if he puts it all together here.

Won three times on the Flat for Andrew Balding and has got the hang of hurdling of late with back-to-back wins at Perth and Sedgefield. Made some jumping errors last time out and probably won't get away with mistakes against this field but should be thereabouts.

Started the season in good form and won at Hexham back in June but very poor on two starts subsequently. Well-being to prove at present and handicapper not cut him much slack.

Listed winner on the Flat and while he's yet to be seen to best effect over hurdles, it's still early days and ran better last day in Worcester 2m novice hurdle on good ground. Type to improve for this yard now he's found some form.

Won just once in 30 starts but that effort did come at this course and rated 13lb below that mark here. That was over two years ago now though and has struggled for any kind of form in 2017. Jockey booking is a positive but likely to struggle.

Forecasts

Man Look (2/1), Celestial Path (11/4), Excellent Team (5/1), Itshard To No (5/1), Lord Huntingdon (6/1), Desert Island Dusk (11/1), Pershing (14/1), Another Journey (20/1), Dollar And A Dream (33/1)

Verdict

LORD HUNTINGDON is an interesting runner for the Alan King yard and he'll be fit after a recent pipe-opener on the Flat. Dan Skelton's yard are in excellent form and it would be no surprise to see Excellent Team do better here. Man Look may prove best of the rest in his hat-trick bid.
