'Everyone Loves Downpatrick' Mares Handicap Hurdle

Second start back over hurdles in recent times and would have sound claims on the pick of her past form. However, she is on a long losing run and needs everything to go her way from a stone higher than her last win over timber.

Closely related to Hurricane Fly, she had already shown signs of ability before getting off the mark over hurdles over 2m3f here last time out. Wasn't showing any signs of stopping on that occasion, so very feasible she will improve for the additional distance this afternoon. Shortlisted.

Already proved the old adage about following a mare in foal has sound foundations when she won at Limerick last month. She obviously now has a limited time on the racecourse but has another chance to pay her way on these terms.

Won at Uttoxeter in May but has gone down fighting in two subsequent starts. Will be suited by stepping back up in trip today and should again be involved in the thick of the action in a tough one to call. Yard won the 2015 renewal of this race.

No wins from 13 previous races under National Hunt rules and has plenty to prove after a poor effort last time out. Others appear to have more solid claims.

Consistent form figures over hurdles and fully deserved to get her head in front at Bangor at the start of this month. Another personal best required and needs to prove her stamina will hold out over this longer trip. Faces a stiff test this time.

Mixes racing under both codes but has been out of form over hurdles of late and makes limited appeal here. Others readily preferred.

Yet to trouble the judge in any of her previous starts and is very hard to fancy from 11lb out of the handicap. Best left to her own devices.
