Has run very well in valuable handicaps at Galway and Leopardstown the last twice, and has also put in a fine recent effort over C&D. This is a step back down in class and given he is just 1lb higher than the first of those efforts, a bold bid is anticipated.
A proven performer at this level who ran well in Listed company last time out. Trip versatile and should be capable of going well now eased in class.
Bounced back from a recent disappointing performance over C&D to run well at Killarney last time. This again requires more but he has shown that he is capable of it in the past.
Makes his first appearance for this yard having become a little hard to win with when trained by Brendan Duke. Clearly still has ability and interesting to see how he fares in first time headgear.
Dual Listed winner in his younger days when trained in Britain, but not so good recently; no win since moving to this trainer and has run poorly more often than not.
Off the mark at Dundalk last time having only been beaten by subsequent Group 3 winner Beat The Bank at that same course on debut. Makes his handicap debut off a reasonable looking mark here and should be capable of going very close.
Has established himself as a capable 1m handicapper for some top connections, but is 8lb higher than his last win at Leopardstown in June (1m, good), and others make more appeal on this occasion.
Creditable effort over C&D last time when running on late to take third; needs to find more in first time cheek pieces in order to get competitive against a couple of unexposed rivals.
Not beaten far at Killarney last time out (1m, good) and is raised 3lb as a result. This looks tougher but he should enjoy the conditions and should be in the mix for a place at least.

Forecasts
Windsor Beach (10/3), Auckland (4/1), The Mouse Doctor (5/1), Aared (5/1), Mr Ormsby (6/1), Vincy (9/1), Khabaray (9/1), Cirin Toinne (9/1), Dinkum Diamond (12/1), St Gallen (14/1), G Force (16/1)
This can go to VINCY, who looks to have plenty more to offer and who has only been beaten by one horse in two starts, with that horse having recently scored in Group 3 company in Britain. He got off the mark at Dundalk last time in good style, and was probably better value than the official winning distance of a length suggests. If proving as effective on grass for this turf debut, he is taken to record a second career win here, at the expense of Windsor Beach, who has been running well in defeat in weaker races than this, and Cirin Toinne , who acquitted herself well in Listed company last time.
- Vincy
- Windsor Beach
- Cirin Toinne
