Didn't get past the first on chase debut last time out but had some useful form over hurdles prior to that and not ruled out if he's no worse for that effort.
Won at Killarney over hurdles earlier in the season and went well for a fair way at that course last time on debut over fences. May be able to build on that.
Jumping has let him down over the larger obstacles to date and unseated the rider last time out at Cork when back over hurdles. Not one to have a lot of faith in and probably wants softer ground than what he will get here.
Plenty of promise in his efforts back in 2015 but didn't make it out in 2016. Improved for his reappearance when eighth of 16 last time out but needs to build on that now.
Bumper winner for Henry De Bromhead and scored on debut for previous yard with a win in a decent race at Punchestown over hurdles. Back to form two starts back at Limerick but he's not the most consistent sort and that was proven last time when struggling to follow up. Not dismissed on chase debut if he bounce back but clearly a little unreliable.
Has looked like he could make into a useful chaser on debut over larger obstacles but too many mistakes last time out. Needs to have learnt from that but progress far from ruled out for this yard.
Won four times on the Flat but yet to land a blow in the NH sphere and well beaten on two starts over fences on last two outings. Not an obvious chasing type and likely to struggle.
Not beaten far when runner-up at Limerick two starts back but couldn't back that up at Galway last time. More experience than some in here and that could pay dividends. Not ruled out if first-time tongue-tie has the desired effect.
Winner over hurdles earlier in the season and looks the one to beat on that form. Very much the type to make up into a decent chaser and entirely unexposed.
Second in Grade 1 over hurdles but struggling with his jumping over the larger obstacles. Won't get away with jumping errors against these rivals and others look likelier winners.
Point-to-point winner who has largely struggled in 13 Rules starts including last time when well beaten at Downpatrick. A lot of improvement needed on Rules debut.
Forecasts
Last Encounter (5/2), Everyday Everyhour (4/1), Arkwrisht (6/1), A Rated (7/1), Justmemyselfandi (8/1), Just Cause (8/1), Deputy's Pass (10/1), Act In Time (12/1), Double Speak (28/1), Hurricane Sky (50/1), Loch Luatha (66/1)
JUSTMEMYSELFANDI could be the one to beat if taking to this discipline and his win at Leopardstown at the start of the year is amongst the best form on offer here. Just Cause wears first-time headgear and a return to form isn't ruled out after an off day last time out while Everyday Everyhour may prove the main danger to the selection if he's back to the form that saw him run well at Limerick.
- Justmemyselfandi
- Everyday Everyhour
- Just Cause
