Stable among the winners recently and this filly has already won in this grade in 2017 over this trip. Forecast conditions no problem and both of her handicap runs since that win have been at least as good, so she looks like having a big say here.

French Group Three winner over this trip last year, though she then endured a marked dip in form. That did not look to be behind her on her sole start this year at Musselburgh and she has plenty to prove.

Won both her first two starts in 2015/2016 and was placed in this grade at Kempton on her return to action in April. Almost back at that level of form at Ascot last time, despite beating just three home. Doesn't have much to find if running to that level and is respected.

Won on debut at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) in April and has faced a few stiffer assignments since. Put up her best effort yet last time in a similar contest at Sandown (beaten 1L into third) and looks well worth another crack at this level.

A progressive filly, as evidence by a 20lb rise in her rating in the past few weeks. Won well at both Newmarket and Ascot (both 1m, good) on handicaps last month and was only 1½L behind the winner when stepped up to this grade at Ascot last time. If she can keep improving then she could go very close in this.

Group Three winner last year and bettered that when runner-up in the French 1,000 Guineas in May. Last seen running just over 3L behind Roly Poly in the Group One Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket in July and a reproduction of either of those efforts would give her outstanding claims.

Forecasts

Sea Of Grace (8/11), Mittens (11/4), Queen of Time (6/1), Lincoln Rocks (15/2), Dancing Breeze (10/1), Materialistic (16/1), Simply Me (33/1), Conselice (50/1), Mitigate (100/1)

Verdict

This looks like a good opportunity for SEA OF GRACE to get another win on the board. A Group One runner-up already this year, she should be able to outclass this field. Mittens and Dancing Breeze are unexposed and have potential for further improvement. Both could have a big say depending on how much they can find, while Queen Of Time has a similar profile and both Lincoln Rocks and Materialistic are others who cannot be ruled out.
