Most experienced member of the field and although she has failed to get her head in front she has been running with credit behind the likes of Cardsharp and Headway. Not beaten far in a Catterick nursery last time, she takes a drop in class and is a leading player in a first-time visor.

Best effort in five starts was a good fourth to Miss Dd at Pontefract in June. Well held in nurseries on her last two starts, but this is easier and she looks to have a sound chance for her respected trainer.

Worthadd filly, half-sister to Stroke Of Love and two-year-old winner What About Bob, dam a Listed winner. Only run so far saw her finish last of six in a 5f Deauville maiden, beaten a long way. Quickly dropped to selling company and has something to prove.

Three runs so far and the best of them saw her finish a close fourth of seven at Lingfield. Needs to improve to take this, but the application of a first-time visor might do the trick.

Last of 17 on debut at York and only marginal improvement when seventh of nine at Chester last time. Needs to step up to trouble the best of these.

Has shown glimpses of ability in three starts. Can take a keen hold and the fitting of a hood for the first time may help to settle her. Needs to find extra.

Forecasts

Felisa (8/13), Sancerre (15/8), Flo's Melody (11/4), Jean Paget (8/1), Watch Tan (11/1), Formiga (20/1), Spix's Macaw (28/1), Ruby Sound (100/1), Lady Ensign (100/1)

Verdict

Sancerre is likely to be popular following her victory in a maiden at Bath two days ago and is much respected, along with Flo's Melody who takes a sharp drop in class and hails from a leading yard. The selection, though, is FELISA, who has been mixing it with some of the season's better juveniles and ran well in a nursery last time. The drop to selling company and application of a first-time visor may do the trick. Jean Paget looks best of the rest.
  1. Felisa
