Dual bumper winner whose Flat campaign thus far has been over inadequate trips. Should be more of a force tackling a distance for the first time and now that he has qualified for handicaps. Stable have hit a bit of form lately so one to note if there is a market move.

Has gone 16 runs since his last victory and yet remains 2lb above that mark. Has proved a difficult customer who needs to be delivered on the bridle at the last possible moment. Tackles this trip for the first time and carries too many risks.

Old timer who is yet to score over this far under Flat rules but as a bumper winner this trip should be well within range. Bids to follow an all the way success over 1m4f when Tectonic was held in third. Hard to refute his claims in a similarly poor race.

Not beaten far at Redcar latest despite only beating one home, stays well but she's still a maiden after 17 starts and yard are 2-93 this season.

Forecasts

Jonny Delta (11/10), Golden Jeffrey (7/4), In Focus (4/1), Tectonic (11/2), Maple Stirrup (12/1)

Verdict

This will take little winning but it is hard to be confident about any of these. Golden Jeffrey is interesting on his handicap debut over a more adequate trip and a market move would be significant in this grade. In Focus improved in a first time hood on his yard debut last week. It is a couple of years since his last success though and it remains to be seen if the aids have a similar effect. JONNY DELTA looks a more reliable proposition for a yard that do well here. He is yet to win over this far on the Flat but this would be the easiest task he has faced at this distance and he is taken to follow up last month's win.
  1. Jonny Delta
  2. In Focus
  3. Golden Jeffrey
