Bated Breath colt, cost 10,000 gns as a yearling. Related to some useful stayers but this possibly a tad sharp on debut and while the yard is in good form, trainer's runners usually come on for their first outing.
Champs Elysees gelding, cost 6,500 gns as a yearling and is related to a few winners, but mostly either over jumps or over staying distances on the Flat. Well beaten on first two starts and likely to do better in handicaps.
Mizzen Mast colt, half-brother to several useful winners and dam closely related to Grade 2 winner Kayrawan. Yard do well with their juveniles and certainly capable of readying one for a debut. Leading claims.
Sir Percy colt, dam a Flat winner over this trip. Trainer tends to do better with their older horses and the yard have been a little quiet recently so looks opposable.
Arch colt, cost $22,000 as a yearling and £65,000 as a Breeze-Up purchase in April. Dam a Grade 2 winner in the States. Yard are in flying form and interesting if there's any money for him.
Lope De Vega colt, cost £34,000 as a yearling. Dam a winner at two-years-old. Yard enjoying a good time of things with their juveniles this year and in excellent form in recent weeks. Should go well with in form jockey booked.
Lope De Vega colt, cost 90,000 gns as a yearling. Half-brother to Group 3 winner Melesina and dam a half-sister to two Listed winners in Romantic Affair and Little Italy. Trainer's juveniles warrant respect when sent north and yard are in form. Looks a suitable test on debut and looks a leading contender in this.
Forecasts
White Mocha (6/4), Neeraan (3/1), Rua Augusta (7/2), Valdolobo (6/1), Breathable (10/1), Onefootinfront (20/1), Duggary (25/1)
WHITE MOCHA is an interesting runner for Hugo Palmer and he may be the one to beat if ready to go on debut. Neeraan is another debutante who warrants respect while Kevin Ryan and Karl Burke are both flying themselves and any money for Rua Augusta or Valdolobo should be noted.
