In good form since returning from a break, winning over C&D (good to firm) and then runner-up at Sandown (1m, good to firm) last time when raised 2lb. Up another 2lb today and entitled to plenty of respect.
Recorded both his wins in 2015 over this trip (on soft / good to firm) and is at his best when coming off a decent pace. Has now dropped 8lb since joining this yard from Richard Hannon and would definitely have a squeak if returning to the form of his Bath run in June.
All eight career wins have been on All Weather surfaces and he is 0-30 on turf. Having said that, he has run some good races on grass including when last seen on it at Doncaster (7f, good) last month. From the same mark he has each way claims.
At his best over 6f-7f and on fast ground. Won at Salisbury in June over 6f and it was over that trip that he was beaten 1L at Chepstow last time. Races from the same mark today and can get competitive.
All of his form suggests that he is better on the All Weather than on this surface and his handicap mark says the same. This is his first turf run since July last year and he may be able to do better. If so, he would be well handicapped, but he has it to prove.
Won here over 6f last season and has already run well in defeat over C&D this term. Looks to be on a competitive mark and having had one run since being gelded, he may now be able to improve on that and take a hand again.

It will be interesting to see what the market makes of Believe It, who has racked up several All Weather wins since his last turf start, but who does look more at home away from a natural surface. He is undoubtedly well handicapped on his All Weather form but does carry risks and the suggestion here is SPIRIT OF SARWAN. One of two in the race for Julia Fielden, he goes well here, is on a good mark and is better than he showed last time. Honlara and Golden Wedding each has claims, Athassel and Gold Hunter should be competitive and Evanescent and Oell De Tigre could also both have a say in an open event.
