Forecasts

Sir Plato (6/4), Prost (15/8), Ripoll (3/1), Grand Inquisitor (13/2), Carnival King (8/1), Calvados Spirit (8/1)

Verdict

SIR PLATO failed to stay when stepped up in trip last time out and this return to 1m can see him register a fourth C&D win of the season. The selection races off a mark 2lb higher than by winning by a head here in June and can see off Calvados Spirit who has finished third over 1m2f here on his two most recent starts. Prost finished well beaten on handicap debut last time out but this 1m trip looks more suitable and he is taken to finish third.
  1. Sir Plato
  2. Calvados Spirit
  3. Prost
