Two wins in May were followed by defeats in Aintree handicap hurdle and on the Flat at Chester, before winning a Haydock 1m2f handicap on good ground last month. Up 2lb for that effort, off-set by jockeys 5lb claim.

Last four starts have come on Newcastle's Tapeta, 2lb higher than last start on turf at Wetherby in May. Best watched.

Both his wins last season came when trained by Mick Channon, but little wrong with three efforts off this mark for current trainer this season, were followed by a win last day here over 1m, a neck in front of Hernando Torres. Up 4lb for the win.
