He has won one of his 18 races to date, scoring over an extended 5f at Bath back in September of last year. Not disgraced in good races at Ascot and York to start the 2017 campaign, his last two runs have been good and he will be winning again sooner, rather than later.
He shaped with plenty of promise in his first two races over 7f at Newbury and Kempton and on the back of those two runs, he was sent off at odds-on for a race at Wolverhampton but was beaten almost 7L behind the winner, Sir Titan. Beat one home at Thirsk over a mile last time and this looks tough.
Stable in fine form and she has yet to really run a bad race, showing a lot of ability without managing to get her head in front. Has found one to good in her last two starts at Wolverhampton and Chepstow and will be popular with the punters tonight.
She secured a 7f Wolverhampton handicap back in September with something to spare and duly followed that with another solid performance at the Midlands venue. Returned from a decent break at Doncaster in April and trailed home last of the 12 runners. Returns from another short break.
Had seven runs to date, running by far his best race on soft ground over this CD last time out when chasing home Salt Whistle Bay at odds of 20/1. Will be a lot shorter in the market here and will be a popular choice to go in.
He has been a winner three times in 38 career starts but not for some time, his most recent victory coming over 7f at Newmarket way back in October 2015 on his last run for Mick Channon. Ran no sort of race last time when beaten out of sight and is best watched here.
Forecasts
Storm Melody (2/1), Getna (5/2), Vibes (7/2), Right About Now (13/2), Luang Prabang (8/1), Popeswood (25/1)
Vibes ran easily his best race to date on this track last time and he is one for any short list. The consistent filly Getna has found one too good in each of her last two races but her supporters will be back in numbers hoping she can finally get her head in front. STORM MELODY has only managed to win one race in his career to date but he started this season with excellent runs at Ascot and York and has not been far away in two subsequent starts. He certainly has the scope to win more races and is a confident choice here.
