Only four starts so far and has shown some promise in maidens with plenty give underfoot. Makes handicap bow and has plenty scope for better, worth paying attention to in the betting.

Has improve in each of three starts, landing a Hamilton novice auction over this trip last time with a bit in hand. Handicap debutant with plenty to offer seemingly.

Well held last month at York on handicap debut over this trip, though since run encouraging race in AW nursery at Wolverhampton. Another step forward required to land this.

Best effort in three starts came last time at Beverley (5f, good to firm) and entitled to claims now switched into handicaps, stable form continues to be a worry (0/67).

Makes handicap debut here on the back of a tame effort last time over 6f in soft ground up at Ayr. Looks best watched for now unless market vibes are strong.

Eye-catching late progress in Catterick claimer (5f, good to soft) last month when just failing to get up from an unpromising position. Makes handicap debut on back of that and looks one of the more likely contenders in the line-up.

Finished last here in debut in May in 5f maiden (good to firm) and hasn't done much more in two further runs, again beaten a long way over 6f at York in June when last spotted. Has plenty to find in this handicap debut if hoping to play a part.

Forecasts

Camacho Chief (9/4), Arizona Mist (7/2), Charnock Richard (4/1), Kikini Bamalaam (5/1), Seen The Lyte (11/2), Shay C (13/2), Rocket Man Dan (10/1), Curzon (11/1), Lord Of The Glen (16/1), I Am Dandy (25/1), Holmfirst (28/1)

Verdict

Camacho Chief has improved on each start so far, culminating in a smooth success at Hamilton last time out. Further progress here would give him an excellent chance of adding to his trainer's recent 29% strike rate and he is greatly respected. The nod goes to KIKINI BAMALAAM however, who made some great late progress last time out at Catterick having looked out of things only to be narrowly beaten. That caught the eye and now switched to handicaps she could have plenty more to offer, with her yard also in excellent form lately. Charnock Richard should handle this ground on handicap debut while Seen The Lyte ran well on the AW at Wolverhampton earlier in the week and may build on that effort.
  1. Kikini Bamalaam
  2. Camacho Chief
  3. Seen The Lyte
