Shaped with some encouragement when a 10L third of 13 behind Lighthouse Warrior in a bumper at Punchestown (2m, good) on his debut in May. May just lack the scope of some of his rivals, however.
Beaten 13½L when making his debut in a bumper at Tramore (good) but soundly beaten in a better event at Punchestown next time and unlikely to be up to winning this.
Has had five chances already in the bumper sphere, showing best form to date when a 12L third over 2m at Wexford in June on his penultimate start. Below that level over 2m4f at Downpatrick last time.

Ran above expectations to finish fourth on his debut in a bumper at Fairyhouse in April and backed that up with a similar performance behind Poet Power here earlier in the week. Sets the standard and big chance if this race hasn't come too soon.
Definite Article gelding out of an unraced dam who is a half-sister to the useful staying hurdler/chaser Railway Dillon. Changed hands for less than €1,000 in April and not an obvious contender with his yard quiet.
Unlucky not to have already bagged a NH Flat event, having gone close on three consecutive occasions, most recently when just edged out by Suncroft over 2m at Wexford (soft) in June. Obvious claims.
Cost a mere €3,000 as a foal and was unfancied for his debut at Sligo recently, showing a modicum of promise in finishing a 25L sixth of 10 behind Royal Zorro. Entitled to come on for that experience.

Forecasts

Peacocks Secret (6/4), Dayna Moss (7/4), All Good Things (9/2), Chateauneuf Du Pap (11/1), Balinaboola Steel (16/1), Global Guide (25/1), Twodoorsdown (33/1)

Verdict

Not a strong finale and, providing DAYNA MOSS has recovered from the exertions of finishing fourth in a much stronger event earlier in the week, this race would appear his for the taking. If the race has come too soon, Peacocks Secret looks best equipped to profit after a few near misses already, with All Good Things looking the pick of the remainder.
  1. Dayna Moss
  2. Peacocks Secret
  3. All Good Things
