Won a poor claimer for Ralph Beckett in March and has hardly beaten a rival since. Dropping down the weights at a rapid rate but appears one to have reservations about at present.
Brighton specialist but has gone well here previously. Last two wins have come off a mark of 67 so he appears to have something to find.
C&D winner who has also scored twice at Lingfield. Went close under this rider at Sandown last week and remains on a handy mark.
Winner of three races this term but held off this mark on last two starts. Has work to do with some of these on running at Sandown last week.
Winner of a poor Fakenham race in June but all other starts under both codes have been poor. Hard to recommend at present.
Bounced back in basement grade at Lingfield off a career low mark. Won a shade comfortably and a 6lb rise looks within her range but meets much better horses now.

Forecasts
The Gay Cavalier (5/2), Miss Inga Sock (11/4), Seven Clans (7/2), Gold Merlion (5/1), Roy Rocket (6/1), Lacan (7/1), Gannicus (8/1), Pernickety (10/1), Spiritual Star (16/1)
The Gay Cavalier and Pernickety are suited to these switchback courses and both look set to go well with experienced riders on board. Gold Merlion only won a seller last time but that will have helped her confidence and her previous form suggests she will cope with a 6lb rise in the weights. SEVEN CLANS travelled nicely into the race at Yarmouth on Tuesday. He was denied a clear run that day and forced a well supported rival to pull out all the stops. This looks easier and, with Megan Nicholls proving excellent value for her claim, the pair can take this.

- The Gay Cavalier
