Won 7f Newmarket handicap (good to soft) last month off a mark of 91, since found things too hot in Group race back there but returns to calmer waters in this. Has to pull out all the stops off this rating however.
Winner over half-furlong longer at Lingfield in June, did that in good style and was raised 10lb for it, burden too much next time at Windsor and will need pieces to fall perfectly off same mark here.
Both wins have come on the AW but produced better effort on turf last time at Newmarket when better than bare result suggest (first home in group). Runs off the same mark now and could have a say.
Just the one win from 18 career starts but often hits the frame, has previously gone well over this C&D and drop back in trip to suit here, as should the ground. Interesting contender if on a going day.
Ran a cracker at the Curragh in the middle of last month over this trip, would have to be in the mix if repeating. Trainer in flying form but draw doesn't help.
May have needed last month run at Newmarket over a mile, coming back from a layoff for handicap debut. Drops 4lb here and sports first-time cheekpieces, feasible there could be a good deal more to come.
Once trained by Aidan O'Brien, he has just an AW success over 1m at Kempton in March to show since joining this yard. Tends to run his races but creeping up the ratings without getting head in front recently and potentially facing stiff task in this line-up.
Recent form is decent, hitting the frame in three runs lately, but is without a win in four years and mark has crept up without achieving desired reward which means this is tough. Could run into the places again.
Won over this C&D in May and has not had enjoyed much luck in two runs since, but still managed to be there or thereabouts both times. Runs off a career-high mark now but not one to dismiss too easily.
Won two of six starts last year, has been struggling in three outings this term (all over longer trips than this) but has dropped 10lb in the ratings as a result. Dangerous to write off now down in distance.
Winner over this trip at Chepstow in June and perhaps best to forgive subsequent Carlisle flop over a mile, trainer has 22% strike rate of late and bounce back looks possible.
Six wins from 28 career starts including two from previous four, ran well at Ayr last time but this looks much his toughest assignment of the season so far.

WAR GLORY ran a better race at Newmarket over this trip last month than the bare result suggest, having led home his group and stood little chance with the bulk of his rivals. He races off the same mark here and Hollie Doyle takes a useful 3lb off his back. He's drawn well and looks capable of running a big race. Sun Lover has gone well in both starts this term and should be winning a race soon while Sinfonietta has C&D form and should relish the conditions. Ifwecan is respected despite a heavy burden while War Department also has merits though Cenotaph will need a degree of luck to score for Ryan Moore from a wide draw.
