Hirons Dooey Tiddesley Wood Mares' Handicap Hurdle

First run for new yard today, well placed to win a couple of minor hurdles at Ludlow and Fakenham last year (both on quick ground) and has gone well after a break before, so has her plus points, but new yard struggling for form and she's best watched tonight.

Likes this C&D (form 21432) and has been running well lately, twice seeing the back end of the improving Utility here, Handicapper has nudged her up a couple of pounds, which doesn't help, but more likely to run her race than a few here and ought to be in the money again.

Has ability but hard to win with, as a record of 1-14 shows. Beaten favourite when second to Ginger Fizz at Fontwell two starts back and hung under pressure when second here latest. Has a chance on form but comes with risks now.

Beat Poetic Lady at Fontwell in May, despite looking less cooperative on the run in, but couldn't repeat the dose at Southwell last time, only highlighting her inconsistency. Chances if on a going day, but that's a tough one to predict.

Looked like there were more races to be won with her when an easy winner at Newton Abbot last October but has disappointed in two subsequent starts, although may have needed last run after a break. Too soon to write off and is shortlisted.

Lightly raced for one her age and did show some ability for her former yard, but in no form at all at present and a refusal to come out of the stalls on her latest start is hardly compelling evidence for a bet. Makes little appeal.
