In decent form of late finishing third over 1m4f at Chepstow (good) in a five runner contest last time and beaten 1L when filling the same position at Beverley (good-to-firm) previously. Races off a mark 2lb higher than when successful over C&D in May.
Well beaten in recent starts including over 1m6f at Lingfield (soft) when 55L last nine days ago. Rated 6lb lower than when winning over C&D in February.
Well beaten over C&D in March and pulled up over hurdles the following month. Wears cheekpieces for the first time on his return from a break here.
Recording his ninth win when successful by a head at Beverley (good-to-firm) over this trip a month ago. Well beaten dropped to 1m2f last time and worth a check in the market here.
Ran well when third over 1m1f at Carlisle (good-to-soft) earlier this month. Races off the same mark today but well held on five previous outings at around this distance.
Well beaten in all four starts so far this year. Handicap mark is falling as a result and hood returns and a tongue tie is added on his debut for this yard.
Well beaten on final three starts for previous stable at Dundalk seeking a second 1m4f victory on his debut for this stable.
Victorious over an extnended 1m3f at Windsor (good-to-firm) in June but well held twice since. Interesting to see how he fares in his quest for a first AW success.
In decent form of late with hurdles placings at Kilbeggan and Bellewstown sandwiching a victory at Limerick (good-to-firm) over an extended 1m3f last month. Races off a 5lb higher mark today and an interesting runner in this.
Ran well when finishing third of ten in a claiming event over C&D last time out. Most recent handicap efforts here nothing special including over C&D last month and others look more likely winners of this.
Winner twice last year and a fair effort despite finishing eight of nine over C&D on his seasonal debut in April. Races off a mark 3lb higher than for his most recent success.
Successful over C&D in April and ran well when third here next time out. Well beaten on each of his last three starts and interesting off his last winning mark returning to this venue today.
Forecasts
Brandon Castle (9/4), Konig Hall (9/2), Shoofly (5/1), Omotesando (8/1), Pour L'Amour (9/1), Star Ascending (14/1), Lean On Pete (14/1), Powered (16/1), Ballyfarsoon (20/1), Yasir (25/1), Handsome Dan (50/1), Fast Play (66/1)
Anthony McCann's KONIG HALL can make the trip over from Ireland worthwhile by taking this competitive looking handicap. The selection has been in good form since returning from a break and can add to his Limerick victory of last month in this contest. Top weight Pour L'amour is another who has been running well in recent times and she can claim second in this contest with Star Ascending, back down to his last winning mark taken to claim third.
- Konig Hall
- Pour L'amour
- Star Ascending
