Five-time winner but four of those efforts have come on the AW and sole turf win came on fast ground. Decent effort when only beaten 2l in a better race than this over C&D earlier this month and not dismissed lightly off present mark.
Has returned to form of late but gone back up the handicap as a result. Won well at Windsor three starts back and only narrowly defeated at Haydock next time but struggled at Ascot latest. Needs plenty of give in the ground.
Very consistent last season and has returned in similar form this time around, though twice turned over at cramped odds. Slightly below par over C&D last time and visor replaces the blinkers he has worn the last twice. Feasibly-treated if everything comes together.
Has already notched a couple of 6f Lingfield successes in 2017 (AW and turf) but the handicapper has reacted and she could only manage fifth of 7 over 6f at Yarmouth (good) last time. Something to prove dropping back to 5f.
Has never fulfilled the juvenile promise he showed for Richard Hannon but did win for this yard at Thirsk (5f, soft) in May. Twice held off a revised mark since, most recently in a valuable event at the Curragh. Ease in the ground would be appreciated.
Has proved better on the AW than turf but capitalised on a reduced turf mark when scoring at Goodwood three starts back. Performed better than the bare result suggests when sixth at Sandown last time but clearly no margin for error.
A winner for Henry Candy and David Nicholls over the years, including off higher marks than this, but made a low-key introduction for this yard at York recently. Likely to come on for that and market support would be interesting.

Major Pusey (5/2), Compas Scoobie (4/1), Oh So Sassy (4/1), Elysian Flyer (11/2), Apricot Sky (8/1), Zac Brown (8/1), Diamond Lady (10/1), Dungannon (12/1)
An open-looking finale in which Oh So Sassy has to be respected dropping in grade. Compass Scoobie, Zac Brown and Elysian Flyer could easily get competitive if putting their best foot forward, as could APRICOT SKY who is likely to come on a bundle for a low-key introduction for this yard at York earlier this month.
