Has made a very good start to 2017, scoring on his return at Thirsk in April (5f, good to firm) and being beaten just 1L at Redcar (5f, good to firm) in May. Rain would be a bit of a concern, as his three best efforts have been on fast ground, but otherwise he has decent claims and is unlikely to have stopped improving.
Rattled off a hat-trick in the spring, all over 6f on good/good to firm and was not disgraced behind an easy winner at Haydock from this mark last time. Beginning to look exposed already, however, and if that is the case he will do well to win this from this mark.
Largely consistent so far this term, with his win coming at Ripon (6f, good to soft) last month. Not disgraced here over 6f in a better race than this later in June and from 1lb lower today he could be a player.
Has run well in all four starts, winning two of them including when showing improvement for the fitting of first-time blinkers at Redcar (5f, good to firm) last month. Runner-up that day has won since, though from 8lb higher this gelding is going to need to improve again to follow-up. Respected.
Broke her duck at the seventh attempt when winning a maiden at Thirsk (5f, good to firm) on her reappearance in May. Held by the handicapper in two subsequent starts and a 1lb drop since her last run does not look sufficient.
Another who won on her reappearance, repeating last year's debut success except this time at Beverley (5f, good to firm). Made the frame at Carlisle last time and on a line through that winner, she will have a bit to find with Batten The Hatches here.
Has made the frame just once from five attempts on turf, that being on his debut at Doncaster (5f, soft) last year. Gelded since last seen making the frame at Lingfield in March and clearly won't mind any rain, but a bit to prove on turf. Can go well fresh.
Appears to go on any ground and it was good to soft when he won at Pontefract last time out from a 7lb lower mark. Another who is upped in grade here, but deserves his place after that 2½L win, although he has yet to win in five previous attempts under this jockey.
Won a Sandown maiden (5f, good to firm) when with Andrew Balding last year and went very close on her first two runs for this yard, both at Ripon (6f, good to soft and 5f, good) last month. Out of sorts last time, but dropped 2lb going into this and if back in the sort of form she was at Ripon she would have decent claims.

Yorkshiredebut comes into this on the back of an easy win last time and looks to have very strong claims, but this ground is not as quick as for her three wins and she would certainly have it to prove if the rains come, so in a competitive event it might be worth siding with NIGHT LAW, who sees out 6f, handles any ground with good in it and looks to be on a handy mark. Twizzell and Batten The Hatches should finish somewhere near each other, while Impart and Dakota Gold have claims, though the latter is another with it to prove on slower ground.
