Recent winner on the Flat but hurdles form thin on the ground and still needs to prove this sphere of racing suits him. Solid effort on his penultimate start gives hi a chance if he can raise his game on this tight track. Interesting if supported.
Put together a nice little sequence of solid efforts. Handled this C&D well previously, so entitled to respect. Going the right way and is one for the shortlist in this company.
Won a point-to-point over 3m in October 2015 but has lacked sparkle since racing under rules. A lot to find on balance and very debatable as to whether this trip will be on the sharp side for him.
Ran well in a bumper at this course back in May and open to a bit of improvement now there are obstacles in the way. Needs to find more than he has shown so far, however, and others look more convincing at this stage.
Improved since joining his current yard and comes here on the back of his best effort yet. Chance if he can continue to thrive but drop in trip is a slight concern. Still worth a check in the betting.
Only modest form in point-to-points and improvement needed on what he has shown over hurdles so far. Others preferred.
Dam and sister won over 2m over hurdles, so promise on breeding. Yard very quiet just now though. Possible he may also need the experience today.
Well ahead of Belclare Boy latest and looks a big player judged on that performance alone. Positive that he gets on well with the rider and not expected to have too many issues with the trip or ground. Big chance here.
Ran a blinder at Killarney latest and was unlucky to be headed near the finish. Ruby Walsh knows him well and interesting that he keeps faith with the gelding. One to seriously consider if the market vibes are positive.
Shaped with promise in four bumpers (the last two starts at this course). Obviously needs to prove he can handle obstacles being in the way, so may be best watched on this occasion.
The Mullins family connection extended to this stoutly-bred mare, who is an interesting contender but is likely to need a little bit more yardage if she runs true to her breeding.

This may boil down to a scrap between KING'S WAR and Play The Part, with the former just edging preference as the one with the most convincing profile for the time being. Sharps Choice is an obvious one to watch in the betting, while Get Smart is another from the Mullins clan that is capable of getting involved in the thick of the action and is respected accordingly.
