Some form in low-level handicap hurdles and wasn't beaten far at Fakenham in early June, but showed her inconsistency with a poor effort at Newton Abbot last time out. Wouldn't want much more rain and others have stronger profiles.
Relatively cheap purchase, half-sister to winners Rockportian and Alexander Seaview. Showed some ability in point-to-points but this trip looks a bare minimum. Yard have had the odd winner recently but too many running below par for comfort.
Doing little wrong at present, and came up against a rejuvenated Pershing on her latest start, so no disgrace in that. Steps up in trip here and will need to settle to get home (can race freely) but chances if she does.
Terrible effort latest, but her earlier form when midfield behind Aintree winner Dame Rose and a close-up third at Sedgefield puts her bang in the firing line here. Yard going better now and if forgiving that latest effort, she can get involved. Any rain a plus.
Went close in a point-to-point in late April but her runs under Rules have left plenty to be desired. Needs this for a handicap mark and that's where her best chance of success may lie.
Forecasts
Nampararoo (11/8), Oscar's Song (11/4), Azamesse (4/1), Dark Sunset (5/1), Stetsonsnstilettos (28/1)
Not a strong event to start the card with, and OSCAR'S SONG may be able to bounce back from a poor effort last time. Her previous form takes her close here and she's the one that won't mind some rain either. Nampararoo needs to show she stays this trio but looks a clear second best. Dark Sunset may stay on for third.
