He was clearly below the standard required when racing in maidens but made a very promising start to his handicap career when beaten only a head by that aforementioned rival, and should be capable of further progression in a race that looks like it should suit him well. Now dropped back down to this trip Wotadoll could be next best, ahead of handicap debutant Deciding Vote.
