Formerly with Tom Dascombe, he showed very little on his first run for this yard on the AW after a four month break. Still just above his last winning mark and looks up against it for now.

Best efforts have come on either fast ground or the AW and entitled to need this after a significant absence. Tries the minimum trip for the first time.

Won back-to-back races last year, one of those contests a C&D Class 5 handicap. Out of form in a couple of starts in May but he's been better than that and given some time to recover. May resume progress here.

Soft ground winner at Bath on debut and go his first win since at Haydock two starts back. Very inconsistent sort and didn't back it up at York last time out under a penalty. Only up 3lb from the handicapped for his prior win and not without a chance if he's on a going day.

Forecasts

Alsvinder (8/11), Francisco (7/4), Stoneyford Lane (2/1), Bahamian Sunrise (3/1), Seve (13/2)

Verdict

ALSVINDER was only just touched off at Chelmsford last time out and provided he's as effective on turf, he could be hard to beat. Bahamian Sunrise has been given a break after a couple of disappointing runs earlier in the summer and may do better now while Stoneyford Lane is proven in the conditions and looks best of the rest.

  2. Bahamian Sunrise
  3. Stoneyford Lane
