Broke his maiden at the 11th attempt over 6f at Catterick (good-to-soft) earlier this month. Races off a 4lb higher mark here and one for the shortlist in this contest.
Winner twice for Michael Attwater and fair efforts in two runs for this stable so far this month. Blinkers worn the last twice is replaced with usual visor today.
Victorious over 6f at Kempton on the AW at the end of March. Held on his last two outings however but probably found the 1m distance too far when last of eight at Salisbury (good-to-firm) last time out.
Beaten a nose in a maiden at Thirsk (good-to-firm) over this distance last Stepember and best effort in two starts this year came when third of nine over 5f at Newcastle on his seasonal debut in May.
Beaten a head in an 11 runner contest over 6f at Yarmouth (good) when making his handicap debut earlier this month. Races off a 3lb higher mark today and likely to run well here.
Limited signs of ability in three maidens so far most recently when sixth of 12 over 6f at Doncaster (good-to-soft) at the start of the month. Soft ground forecast today should suit on breeding and open to improvement now switched to handicaps.
Finished runner-up the last twice most recently in a 17 runner event at Doncaster (soft) at the end of June. Stayed on well on that occasion and may prefer a stronger pace than is likely in this contest.

Forecasts
Canadian Royal (2/1), Majestic Stone (3/1), Chickenfortea (9/2), Gaval (11/2), Lightoller (6/1), Deciding Vote (9/1), Peachey Carnehan (25/1), Brother In Arms (25/1)
CHICKENFORTEA got off the mark when making all at Catterick last time out and may well be granted an easy lead in this contest. Trainer Eric Alston has a 25% strike-rate recently (2/8) and the selection can get the better of Canadian Royal who stepped up markedly on previous efforts when making his handicap debut last time out. Majestic Stone has finished runner-up the last twice and can claim third in this contest.
