C&D winner who came back to her best form when making all up what looked to be a favoured part of the track at Hamilton and carries a 6lb penalty here. Still just below her last winning mark but might not find conditions so beneficial here.

Twice a 5f winner at Musselburgh last year when with Gary Moss off considerably lower marks and progressed through the year despite not winning again although she ended the season with a rare poor effort. Strong in the betting on her return for this yard she ran a fine race to come second at York over 5f at York off this mark and looks set for a good second half of the year.

From a yard that are doing well with their sprinters this year she has been one who hasn't really contributed only showing her form on one occasion. Operating below her best at the moment but slipping back towards her last winning mark with the visor going on for the first time.

Has an unblemished record over C&D and ran a very creditable race last time out at Haydock (did too much early on and needs to settle better). Still kept on well though last time which was surprising given his early antics and if he settles better here should be in with a chance off a mark that is below his last winning one.

Made a good start to the season with a win coming over 5f at Newcastle off a mark of 59. You could make excuses for both his recent runs on turf (caught wide first time and raced too close to a strong pace last time) but runs from out the handicap here in a higher grade that usual.

Forecasts

Glenrowan Rose (2/1), Fumbo Jumbo (5/2), Landing Night (10/3), Economic Crisis (9/2), Olivia Fallow (7/1), Indian Pursuit (8/1), Bosham (12/1), Rosina (16/1)

Verdict

A fairly decent head for this grade and it’s certainly competitive with Glenrowan Rose looking to follow-up her win from last time out although circumstances are a little different here. Landing Nightshould put up a good defence of his unbeaten record here if he settles a little better with Rosina and Indian Pursuit capable of getting involved. FUMBO JUMBO looks a horse on the up though and with her new yard in good form can build on her sound run last time out and continue her upward curve.
  1. Fumbo Jumbo
  2. Landing Night
  3. Glenrowan Rose
