Successful twice in 28 career starts. Beaten a neck in a first time visor (retained) over 7f at Brighton, before third of seven, not beaten far in Windsor, 1m handicap, two weeks ago.
Not won since winning a Chelmsford City maiden back in 2015 but finished unplaced in six starts last year. No impression on two seasonal starts so far at Newbury and Epsom.
He has won five races in his career to date, his most recent success coming in a mile handicap at Bath last September. Fifth of six and well beaten at Salisbury over a mile, 11 days ago. Best watched.
Scored twice over 1m at Bath earlier this season including on good-to-firm ground last month. No obvious excuse when finishing seventh of eight over the same C&D subsequently and last of seven last day at Windsor.
A winner on the AW for Simon Crisford early last year but has never really kicked on from that and has spent most of this year hurdling, but encoraging third of eight, not beaten far in Newbury 1m2f handicap at the beginning of the month.
First-time cheekpieces and a fall in the weights appeared to show him in a better light over C&D in April. He duly built on that performance when winning next time out at Yarmouth and looked a little unlucky not to follow-up here, before fifth of six back at Yarmouth last month.
Won here in May over CD off 9lb lower mark, struggled since and up against it with current rating.
Forecasts
Fast Dancer (3/1), Zlatan (7/2), Waves (9/2), Ladurelli (5/1), With Pleasure (8/1), British Embassy (8/1), King Oswald (11/1), Mister Musicmaster (20/1)
British Embassy and Ladurelli may dispute the lead here in the early stages. The possible falsely run race may see it collapsing at the feet of FAST DANCER, third of seven, not beaten far in Windsor, 1m handicap, two weeks ago and Zlatan, fourth of nine, not beaten far in Ascot 1m handicap, 12 days ago.
