Finding life hard this year having won twice last season at Newcastle and Redcar with his latest effort over 7f here being very laboured. Drops in grade here but much more spark is needed before he's of any interest.

One of a duo that run for this yard he showed some useful form last year but continues to struggle to find that same form this time around and is best watched for now.

Getting on for a year since her won but probably the better of the two that run for this yard. He's now dropped below his last winning mark (67) and ran a little better than of late recently but didn't totally suggest that he could take advantage of the fall in the weights just yet.

Formerly with Richard Hannon but failed to win in nine start with that team and has his first run for his new trainer now. Only run in a handicap came in a nursery off a mark of 71 and he now finds himself off a 7lb lower mark. His current yard are very good a rejuvenating cast offs and he should be watched and respected in the market here.

Not won since his purple patch in 2014 when he won four handicaps the last off a mark of 58. Taken a while and a few runs to see him fall back below that mark and now looks off a handy mark although his last run here over 1m2f suggested that further was needed and this mile trip could be on the sharp side.

Capable of the odd good performance as he showed when winning here over 7f off a 3lb lower mark last month . Well below form on all three starts since and his temperament often gets the better of him and makes him difficult to recommend.

Looks to be a reasonable proposition based on her maiden form but has so far failed to really show that form in two handicap starts (yet to beat a rival home). Does look a little too high in the weights and no surprise to see the headgear go on for the first time as she has looked a little awkward of late.

This will be his 11th start in handicaps and he's yet to really show his best even with a frequent change or changes of headgear. Did run a little better on the AW at Newcastle last time but looked fairly slow overall and passed over again here.

Has regressed markedly in the last couple of seasons with his last win coming back in 2013 over 6f. His mark has continued to slide since then and although he ran one of his better races last time out over 7f he's still not one to be getting involved with even off this basement mark.

Only of interest because of his connections and how well they have done here in the past with his form in three maidens (two on the AW) suggesting that low-grade handicaps would be the key to him. Started at 25/1 on his sole handicap start so far after a 6 month break and can't be judged on that run as the saddle slipped. Suspicion is that he can do better than he's shown so far and well worth watching in the market.

Maiden form in 2016 was only modest but at least showed something to work on whereas this year she has made little or no impact in handicaps. Even with blinkers on for the first time and off a basement mark she makes very little appeal here.

Tesko Fella (4/1), Remember Rocky (9/2), Crazy Tornado (11/2), Argaki (8/1), Royal Icon (8/1), Rioja Day (9/1), Swiftee (9/1), Gun Case (12/1), Quiet Company (16/1), New Decade (20/1), Wolf Heart (33/1), Tael O' Gold (40/1)

Verdict

Most of these have question marks against them and strong or solid form is very thin on the ground and it may pay to take a chance on the Irish raider here QUIET COMPANY despite him having shown very little so far. It’s not unknown for his yard to do well here and there may well be some money for him. With lots of these struggling at the moment Remember Rocky has to enter the equation even though he looks to need further and Crazy Tornado might also be able to step forward on his recent form. Headgear might be the key to Royal Icon with Ruth Carr sure to get a tune out of Tesko Fella at some point.
