Irish point-to-point winner who has shown some ability under Rules in bumpers/hurdles without winning although he did go close on his handicap debut last time. Had the run of the race on that occasion and comes back in trip here off a 5lb higher mark but would be worthy of note if getting a soft lead again here.
No surprise to see him win on his debut for this yard over hurdles at Uttoxeter in a first-time tongue-tie despite pulling hard throughout. Doesn't look totally straightforward and obviously has his quirks but should be able to cope with the hefty 15lb rise in the weights given that he was useful on the Flat (rated 74).
Still a maiden over hurdles and switched back to hurdles after a break now having fallen the last twice over fences. Now makes his debut for a new yard and has run some decent races over hurdles (once in this headgear combination) and if ready to go could take a hand here.
Poor Flat and hurdles maiden but now on his first run for this excellent new yard and improvement may well be forthcoming and should be watched in the market.
Like the trainer's other runner in the race he's shown very little so far for his previous yard (trainer's mother) but given the start they have made better is expected on what he's shown so far going into handicaps for the first time.
Form on the Flat and over hurdles is only modest and he's not looked that comfortable over this trip in his hurdles runs having gone handicapping for the first time off a 2lb higher mark on his last hurdles outing.
Hurdles form has been of a very moderate nature and didn't mount any threat at all last time out and faces a tough task here against some potential improvers.

Forecasts
Wynford (5/4), Charlie Papa Lima (7/2), Hongkong Adventure (6/1), The Otmoor Poet (8/1), Mizen Master (10/1), Vital Evidence (12/1), Holy Cross (14/1), Hazamar (14/1), Distant High (33/1)
Most of the interest here will be looking at the Olly Murphy pair Hong Kong Adventure and Mizen Master whose form isn’t great but can’t be ruled out from this yard that are going great guns at the moment with plenty of cast offs. Wynford should take his position at the head of the market and is hard to leave out of the equation but he did look a little quirky last time out and VITAL EVIDENCE is just preferred at the likely prices on his first run for his new yard. Charlie Papa Lima is another to take a look at and he would be of interest if gaining a soft lead.
