Was a fairly useful hurdler in the past but the losing run is starting to build up and he's been pulled-up in four of his last five runs which hardly inspires confidence. His only completion in those runs was in a seller but the way he went through that race hardly had you rushing to back him.
Another one with more letters than numbers in his recent form figures and not seen over hurdles since February 2016 and was pulled-up then. Hard to see him figuring here even at this lowly level.
Has won over C&D but that was all a long time ago and his last win happened nearly two years ago now. Hasn't had many going days since and when he does he usually turns in any effort as soon as any pressure is applied.
At least brings some winning form into this race which can't be boasted by many in this of late having taken a weak novice last time out although the form looks relatively solid. Now dropped into selling grade for the first time and looks to have a leading chance given his last run.
The training arrangements have to make this one of interest despite his recent form in Ireland where he ran for three different yards. He's shown very little in his recent starts but has had some stiff tasks and it won't be a surprise to see some money for him here.
A winner on the Flat when returning to that sphere on firm ground at Bath in May in a handicap hasn't managed to show anything like that form in two subsequent starts. A course winner he has been capable of some fair form over hurdles and can't be written off too easily here despite a tough task at the weights.
Blinkers are added to his usual tongue-tie but given his recent form in handicaps they would need to bring about a big improvement for him to have a chance here even dropped to this lowly grade.
Forecasts
Buble (5/4), Cliffside Park (11/8), Gambol (13/2), The Kvilleken (16/1), Lightentertainment (28/1), Art Looker (33/1), Finch Flyer (150/1)
Certainly one of the less edifying contests on the card with CLIIFSIDE PARK looking as though he may well add to the burgeoning reputation of Olly Murphy he has form in far better events than this. His main rival looks to be the novice hurdle winner Buble with Gambol really the only other one to enter the mix in what is a very low grade event.
