In fair form this year and has been running well in defeat recently, remaining on now on what seems to be a workable mark. Potentially slightly better on the all-weather but still hold strong claims here over what could prove to be her ideal trip.
Only 2lb higher than at the time of her last win, but needs to up her level of form on turf, especially after a 7L defeat into last at Wetherby last time out.
Relatively trip-versatile sort who hasn't been running to his best of late but would have a good chance if able to return to his best from an appealing draw and on ground which is sure to suit.
Sole career win on turf came at Naas in 2014 off a lower mark than this, and he was beaten 15L on his stable debut at Haydock last time out.
Ran a fine race at Beverley last time out over a similar trip to this when being beaten 1¼L into fourth. A replication of that level of form, off the same mark, would see him go close.
Carries a 6lb penalty for a victory over slightly further at Beverley last time out. Has won off a similar mark to this in the past so the weight shouldn't be an issue, but this certainly still seems to be a more competitive heat.
Couldn't improve for the switch to handicap company last time out and is yet to suggest any real promise, either in that race or the three maidens he ran in prior to that.
Dual-purpose performer whose sole win under either code came at Brighton in June 2015. Hasn't been running to anything like that level of form recently and has it all to prove now.
Very poor performances of late and tough to make a case for even off a career low mark and with a reasonable draw.
0/15 in her career and has shown no clear signs of improvement at any point, nor that a first career victory is imminent.
Hasn't convinced so far in handicap company and has plenty to prove following a 12L defeat at Wetherby last time out, even with his apprentice rider claiming a further 7lb.
Not disgraced since switching to handicap company and having been dropped a further 3lb she looks capable of running a big race here, though whether that will be enough to get involved in the finish remains to be seen.

Forecasts
Mr Sundowner (5/1), Graceful Act (6/1), Sooqaan (6/1), The Dukkerer (13/2), Pindaric (13/2), Navajo Thunder (7/1), Green Howard (7/1), Lozah (8/1), Kensington Palace (12/1), Leonard Thomas (12/1), Nelson's Bay (16/1), Twistsandturns (16/1), Rupert Boy (20/1), Cosmic Dust (22/1), Dylan's Storm (33/1), Snappydresser (33/1)
If Kensington Palace bounces back from a poor performance (albeit when not particularly fancied) at Hamilton last time out he should go close after some recent promising runs, while Green Howard hasn't won for a very long time but must get his head in front sooner or later off what seems a very appealing handicap mark. Preference, though, is for THE DUKKERER. This mare has been running better than most of these so far this year, and unlike many of her rivals remains on a fair handicap mark. She's potentially slightly more effective on a synthetic surface but holds winning form on good to firm and is taken to record a second win of 2017 today.
- The Dukkerer
- Kensington Palace
