A former Khalid Abdullah inmate, he has developed into a fairly useful performer, getting his head back in front when scoring over this trip at Redcar in April. No match for the smart El Vip on the AW at Newcastle last time, he will not lack support here.
A winner of two races, last winning over an extended mile at Beverley 14 months ago. Has attracted market support in some of his races so far this season but has failed to get his head back in front. Retains plenty of ability and is no forlorn hope here.
Has won five times in his career to date, hitting a real purple patch back in October when rattling off three straight wins. A bit below his best in the competitive Carlisle Bell last time, he will need his best form to capture this prize.
A consistent gelding with three victories to his name, the last time when scoring over an extended mile at Hamilton just over a year ago. May well have needed the run on his return for a new trainer when back from a break recently and he can improve on that effort.
Only out of the first three once in just six outings to date, opening his account when scoring over an extended 7f at Beverley back in September. Caught the eye in a race over this trip at Haydock last time out when beaten just over 1L and he has an excellent chance here to regain the winning thread.
Looked fairly useful in his first three races over 6f, scoring with any amount in hand when winning at Ayr just over a year ago. Made the running in a mile handicap at Ayr last time but dropped away to finish last of the six runners. Capable of a bold showing.
Successful over 7f at Newbury last July when trained by William Muir but has failed to add to that since. Not disgraced in a race over this trip at Pontefract last time, he gets weight all round here but will need his very best to secure the spoils.

Areen Heart (6/4), Dark Profit (9/4), Torrid (11/4), Town Charter (13/2), Rousayan (15/2), Shouranour (10/1), Hitman (11/1), Planetaria (14/1)
Torrid looked a smart recruit early in his career and was a game winner over this trip at Redcar in April. Beaten behind a smart recruit of Luca Cumani's last time, he will not be far away at the finish here. AREEN HEART has run several good races in defeat and was a game winner over 7f at Beverley back in September. He went down in many notebooks when beaten just over a length last time and can return to the winners' circle in this contest. Town Charter will make a race of it but a bigger threat comes in the shape of Dark Profit. Twice a winner recently, he is in great heart at the moment and could well secure another victory.
- Areen Heart
- Dark Profit
- Town Charter
