Started at a big price on debut (20/1) at Chelmsford on the AW over 7f but showed plenty of promise to win by a nose in the end. Looks sure to progress on her second run but does have to give weight all round here.

A 25/1 chance on debut she probably shaped better than her final finishing position suggests when finishing in midfield ay Newbury over 7f. Travelled well throughout the race and wasn't knocked about and there should be better to come.

A surprise winner on her debut when taking a 7f Lingfield turf maiden having started at 25/1 but showed plenty of zip and looked to be well on top at the end of the race. The form of the race is starting to work out and given her connections she may well be underestimated again here.

Looks to have been well bought at 30,000 guineas as a yearling being a half-sister to plenty of winners with most having scored over further. That said she may just be better suited by further in time and is best watched on debut here.

Just the one run so far when a 66/1 chance in a 6f Newmarket maiden and finished well held and looks to need more experience yet.

Her only run so far was very much one that was used to give her much needed experience when she was a 100/1 shot at Newmarket over 7f. Shaped as though the run would do her good there and may take a little step forward here although others are still ahead of her in the pecking order.

Out the back on her debut over 6f here she didn't really show an awful lot losing her place rather easily and more needed to get involved here.

Yard have a good strike-rate with their juveniles this year and they are capable of having first time out winners. She's a half-sister to a winner at up to 7f Experto Crede (won over 6f as a two-year-old) and the dam was also placed as a juvenile over 1m1f.

Form overall looks modest and although she improved from her debut on her second run that progress did appear to plateau last time out. May well be seen in a better light in nurseries in the forthcoming months rather than in races such as this which look a tough ask.

This yard have really got going with their juveniles now and like a few from the yard she stepped forward from her debut when third at Doncaster over 7f last time. Went from the front last time and could put her experience to good use again in this on a track that can on occasions favour front runners.

Her Chester run showed her in a good light when running well from a wide draw over 7f with that outing being an improvement on her Yarmouth debut. Stable are yet to have a juvenile winner this season but this one isn't written off easily.

Forecasts

Capla Temptress (10/3), Bambino Lola (4/1), Lucifugous (13/2), Gemologist (7/1), La Diva (8/1), Richenza (8/1), Shepherd Market (10/1), Tricksy Spirit (14/1), Yamuna River (14/1), Jo's Girl (14/1), Show Of Force (20/1), She'sastorm (40/1), Jedlitzka (66/1)

Verdict

We could have an informative contest on our hands here with a couple of these already winning on their debuts and looking as though they can take another step forward and BAMBINO LOLA may hold the edge of the unbeaten duo with Capla Temptress the other one in that group. It’s not hard to see both Gemologist and Lucifugous making more progress with a couple of runs under their respective belts. There are only three newcomers in this and Sheperd Market and La Diva look very much the two who can make an impression here on their racecourse debuts.
  1. Bambino Lola
  2. Gemologist
  3. Shepherd Market
