Caused an upset when scoring at 33-1 on debut at Doncaster (6½f, good to firm) earlier in the month. The favourite (third that day) has been placed twice since to give the form a solid look and under a penalty he should make a good follow up bid.
Another who sprang a surprise (25-1) on his debut at Salisbury (6f, good to soft) last month, running green enough until finishing strongly when the penny dropped. The fourth has since come out and gone very close, so again the form looks very solid and he can go well again now upped in trip and under a penalty.
50,000gns foal who increased to €135,000 as a yearling. Full-brother to 5f/6f winner Endeavour and half-brother to winners Beach Bunny (1m-1m2f, inc. Listed) and Robinson Cruso (5f-6f). Dam an unraced daughter of 1m 2yo Group One winner/French Oaks runner-up Miss Tahiti. Yard's debutantes always respected. Market check advised.
23,000gns foal, rising to 68,000gns as a yearling. Half-brother to winners Monsarrat (7f-9¾f, inc. 2yo), Armandihan (7f) and six others mainly at around 1m-1m2f, inc. Listed. Dam an Italian maiden out of 1m2f winner. Nice pedigree and represents red hot connections at this venue. Market check suggested.
Perhaps didn't make as much improvement as anticipated when the beaten 5-4fav at Chester last month (7f, good to soft), though he only went down by ½L and it was still a small step forward. Certainly not ruled out from building further on that and looks like being a leading player.
12½L last of 12 when 100-1 on debut here over 6f (good to firm) earlier in the month, when she was always in rear. Steps up in trip and returns for further experience this time, but not easy to see her in the shake-up today.

Market checks are strongly suggested with regard to both Al Barg and Floreat Floreat, whose stable's are no strangers to debut winners, though three of these have good experience in context and will not be easy to eclipse first time. Wasim is one of those, though both he and Veejay carry penalties for their surprise debut wins and today could be the day that KNIGHT IN ARMOUR makes the most of the weight concession and breaks his duck.
