Progressed nicely last year and won his maiden in fine style at Thirsk on his penultimate start. Not seen since held at Kempton last September; bu ran above expectations on that occasion, so very feasible he has more to offer from his current mark back on turf. One to monitor for sure.
Won over C&D in May and has run with credit under a revised mark subsequently. Handicapper does appear to have her in his sights though and she may need to drop a few pounds in the weights before she can seriously be considered as a live-wire again.
Consistent on the AW but now 10lb higher than his last win and looks weighted to the hilt. Tough assignment ahead on these terms and and something to prove on his first outing on turf for two years.
Won well on his penultimate start at Beverley - handed just a 2lb rise and fared better than the finishing position would have you believe last time out. Trip suits him ideally and yard enjoying a cracking season. One for the shortlist in this company.
In good from since joining his current yard and is respected back over what appears to be his most appropriate trip. Rider's 7lb being utilised by the gelding's canny trainer is another plus point. One to bear in mind if supported in the betting.
Wins in his turn and notable that he is 6lb lower than for his last success. But form this season has been a tad below his best and bold effort required to boost his confidence before losing becomes a habit that is too hard to shake-off.
Least exposed in the line up and comes here on the back of a very eye-catching victory at Chepstow. He made all on that occasion and wasn't showing any signs of stopping. Just 4lb higher this time, the colt has been presented with a decent opportunity to maintain his progress and can do his bit to ensure this is a good test.

Very possible that we haven't seen the best of SEA THE MASTER, who won in a very pleasing manner last time out and he may be worth persevering with whilst his confidence is on a high. Ehtiraas sets the standard from the other end of the handicap and is highly respected, while Madroos and Palmerston add intrigue to a tight little handicap and are worth considering if the betting indicates bold efforts are expected from either or both.
