Has recently dropped to a more competitive mark and has responded with two good efforts at Beverley and Carlisle. Obviously suited to a stiff mile but may need a stronger pace than we are promised here.
Winner over 1m2f and only beat one home in a tight finish on soft ground two weeks ago. Has shown a tendency to be too keen and it is possible connections feel this shorter trip will combat that.
Eight-race maiden makes handicap debut on the back of a solid effort at Chester last time. Looks fairly treated on that performance and this stiff mile should suit. Stable are just 7-60 with three-year-olds here and top rider is 0-10 for them at this track.
Nine-race maiden whose best efforts have come at Wolverhampton. Looks high enough in the weights at present and may need to drop a grade.

This may prove tactical and that makes predicting the outcome a challenge. Armagnac needs to prove his effectiveness on turf and is ruled out accordingly. Mr Tyrell is becoming frustrating and the yard's record here adds little to his appeal. Character Onesie will appreciate the stiff finish here but prefers to come off a strong gallop. That leaves DAIRA PRINCE who is dropped in distance here having disappointed last time. As a keen going sort there may be merit in the switch, although a muddling race could be against him. That may be a chance worth taking as he represents a yard with a good record here and he has more room to improve.
