Speedily-bred filly but started and a big price and hampered at the start when debuting at Nottingham (good) earlier this month. More needed here.

Unraced home-bred daughter of Intense Focus and a half-sister to placed sprinter Cool Breeze. Probably best watched on her racecourse debut.

Well held in all five starts so far including when 13L third over C&D on good-to-firm ground in May. Others make more appeal.

Weakened late on when finishing 7L ninth of 11 over 5f at Beverley (good-to-firm) on debut earlier this month. Needs to step up on that to figure here.

Two fair efforts on soft ground so far including when fifth of six over 5f at Carlisle last month. Interesting to see how she fares on forecast good ground today.
Well beaten fourth of five having been slowly away at Yarmouth (good-to-firm) when debuting a month ago. Non-runner twice since then and others looks more likely.

Run well in four outings so far including when beaten a neck over 6f off a mark of 82 on good-to-soft ground last time out. Had finished 6L fourth of 12 in a Listed contest at Newmarket (good-to-soft) prior to that and looks likely to run well again here.

Unraced for William Knight and well beaten on racecourse debut over 5f at Ripon (good) last month. Others have a more obvious chance in this.

Unraced home-bred daughter of Equiano and a half-sister to connections 6f course winner Springforth. Hails from a leading stable and is an interesting runner on her racecourse debut.

Beaten 8L when making her debut over 6f at Pontefract (good-to-firm) last month. Drop back in trip here looks likely to suit and market support would be interesting.

Well held twice over 5f so far including when seventh of nine at Ripon (good-to-soft) last time out. More needed with better ground forecast today.

Forecasts

Reflect Alexander (4/5), What Do You Think (6/1), Cool Baby (9/1), Sandie Gem (10/1), Zain Smarts (10/1), Rema Al Kuwait (14/1), Lil Gem (14/1), May Girl (20/1), Cherry Oak (33/1), Ideal Spirit (50/1), Dark Hedges (125/1), Your Just Desserts (125/1)

Verdict

REFLECT ALEXANDER has shown enough in her four runs to date to suggest she can get off the mark by taking this opening novice stakes. The selection ran well in a Listed contest on her penultimate outing and can get the better of Richard Fahey's debutant Sandie Gem who can claim second at the expense of What Do You Think who can put a disappointing debut behind her by claiming third in this.
  1. Reflect Alexander
  2. Sandie Gem
  3. What Do You Think
