Dabblebet Maiden Stakes

Has been a beaten favourite twice this season and doesn't seem to be producing quite what is anticipated when he gets to the racecourse. Needs a fair bit of improvement to get involved today.

Sent off at just 13-2 on debut last year when with Michael Dods but flattered to deceive and was an eventual 14L fifth of 14 that day (6f, good to firm). Changed hands since and now drops in trip, but will need to find plenty to be breaking his duck and handicaps look the way forward.

Is costing a few quid to follow after being runner-up on three occasions over this trip and on good/fast ground. Gelded since his latest outing in May and that could be the key to getting the job done this time. Sets the standard but still has to see it through on the track itself.

Sent off at 5-1 on debut, so a 6L sixth of seven must have been a shade disappointing for connections. Has been given several months since then and can hopefully step up on that first effort now switched to turf.

Half-sister to winners New Lease Of Life (5f-6f) and Tommy G (7f), out of a Listed-placed 5f 2yo winning half-sister to 5f-6f winners Geojimali and Blazing Heights. Pedigree suggests that she should have some speed, although hood a slight concern and yard not noted for debut winners, so perhaps best watched.

Well beaten in both starts so far over this trip and in fact her second run was not as good as her first. Looks likely to show a bit more when going handicapping, so not a huge amount expected from her again today.

Put in a promising debut performance at Redcar in May (6f, good) but failed to build on that at Ripon last time. Drops in trip now and if she can better her first effort then she could get involved at the business end.
