Jury out as to whether or not he stays this 10f trip but ran fairly well over C&D last time, fading inside distance to be third having forced the pace. May suit a more patient ride this time.
Scored twice on Chelmsford A/W this year but disappointed there last time. Earlier runner-up at Yarmouth in April. Decent apprentice has first ride for yard and his 5lb claim will help the cause.
Scored over C&D last month under today's rider, responding well having been under pressure for a long way. Solid effort at Newbury last time and looks sure to be on the premises once again.
Lost his way last term having enjoyed three wins in 2015. Solid run on debut for new yard in first-time hood at Chelmsford last month and hopes rest on the headgear helping again as he returns to turf.
Five wins in Ireland but has run poorly at this track on both starts since joining current yard. Dropping in the weights but a great deal more needed if he is to get involved.
Surely needed run on first start for new connections when fourth here last month and has two course wins to credit when trained by Charles Hills. May be more to come, but trip will be stretching his stamina to the limit.

Forecasts
Hollywood Road (13/8), Celebration Day (5/2), Alcatraz (7/2), Calvados Spirit (4/1), Classic Villager (11/2), Ogbourne Downs (14/1), The Twisler (16/1), Udogo (33/1)
A number here with decent claims, but marginal preference is for CELEBRATION DAY who is forgiven a poor run on the A/W last time and on the balance of his form has a solid chance. Alcatraz should on the premises again and run his race, a comment that applies equally to Hollywood Road, whose shrewd handler is a rare visitor here. Classic Villager could be a danger if repeating his improved first run of the term, The Twisler is the joker in the pack off his lowly mark at a shorter trip, while Ogbourne Downs is also respected after a good comeback run last time.
- Celebration Day
- Ogbourne Downs
- Classic Villager
