Eased 3lb after two runs following winter break where showed some spark. Has claims, but better at 6 furlongs and invariably shows better form on the A/W.
Finished 15th in hot handicap sprint at Ascot on Saturday. Group winner ein his pomp and still capable, but is 6lb higher today than when winning over C&D in April. Fast ground no problem.
Won C&D maiden in June last year and progressed nicely to win Ascot handicap in the autumn. Beaten just a short-head in the Epsom Dash in June and on that form would take some stopping. Sure to be in the mix.
Won at Epsom in April but hans't really built on that in three subsequent outings, including in hot event at the Curragh last time. Jockey booking catches the eye though so possible better is expected here.
Two disappointing races of late having won at Bath in April. Handicapper proving slow to release his grip but has claims on her good effort at York last year. Booking of top jockey is a plus.
In fine form at the moment and has fair prospects of completing a hattrick after wins at Wolverhampton and Brighton. Raised 3lb following last success, this is much tougher, but should still give a good account of himself.
Last win came in listed company at Newbury in May 2014 but it's been mainly a downhill plunge since then and is now rated nearly 30lb lower. Little to write home about in recent outings and others make much more appeal.

Forecasts
Dark Shot (11/8), Spring Loaded (5/1), Super Julius (5/1), Stepper Point (6/1), Love On The Rocks (7/1), Lightscameraction (8/1), Majestic Hero (12/1), Musical Comedy (28/1)
If DARK SHOT can run close to his effort at Epsom in June that could be good enough to lift this competitive sprint handicap. He is a previous C&D winner and has plenty going for him. Stepper Point is not certain to turn out so soon after finishing down the field at Ascot, but if he does, he should be in the thick of the action. along with the hattrick seeking Super Julius. Majestic Hero may be coming to the boil and has a good jockey booking going for him, and Lightscameraction is by no means out of it on the pick of his form.
- Dark Shot
- Lightscameraction
- Majestic Hero
