Winning Irish point-to-pointer having first run for new connections since joining them last month. Has form that suggests he can figure if acclimatised to new surroundings so worth noting any positive market indications.
Front runner who finally got off the mark on his penultimate start at the 51st time of asking! Disappointed though last time and, on balance, will probably find a few too good once again.
Won Taunton seller in 2015 but lightly raced last two years and has clearly had training issues. Pulled up when last seen at Taunton in February and makes little appeal with so many questions to answer.
Scored at Ludlow in April and has run creditably last three starts without ever looking a likely winner. 7lb higher than last winning effort so may need a little help from the handicapper before getting his head in front again.
Modest 21 race maiden has his first start for new yard, currently in blindingly good form. Hopes rest on change of scenery bring about improvement, but did run satisfactorily last start so is not without hope.
13-race maiden returns from nine-month break. Has a modicum of ability and has a squeak based on effort at Warwick last September. Fitness a question mark though so market may prove good guide.
50lb lower than in his pomp just three years ago and appears just a shadow of his former self. Not disgraced at Perth 11 days ago and has dropped a further 5lbs so any spark of old form might be good enough if he can raise a last hurrah.
Handicapper has finally relented and dropped him 9lb since last run when well beaten in a selling hurdle. Appears to have issues and only lightly raced of late so has plenty to find.
Wining point-to-pointer but has shown little or no ability since switching to rules and is impossible to recommend on evidence to date.
On 20 race losing run since landing a selling hurdle at Uttoxeter two years ago. Went close at Fakenham last month though and is one of the more likely outsiders if things go her way.
Forecasts
Mr Caffrey (2/1), Ramore Will (7/2), Anton Dolin (13/2), Roja Dove (8/1), Orion's Might (8/1), Jazz Thyme (11/1), Centreofexcellence (16/1), Changing The Guard (16/1), Seacon Beg (20/1), Come On Louis (28/1)
A chance is taken that in a very modest contest the ex-Irish RAMORE WILL can make a wining debut for his new connections. He showed some half-decent form for Ian Ferguson and has been found a weak contest to begin his British career. It's a similar story for Mr Caffrey who also has his first start for a new yard in tremendous form at present, although he does have more to find than the selection. Anton Dolin, Roja Dove, and Jazz Thyme are others with some hope.
- Ramore Will
- Mr Caffrey
- Roja Dove
