Never going well when pulled up in a race won by Stynes at Worcester over an extended 2m on soft ground in May, before fourth of seven in Worcester novice handicap chase last month.
Winning hurdler who has yet to get off the mark over fences after eight attempts. His last three runs have been particularly disappointing, when well beaten.
Remains a maiden after 17 starts under Rules, but he hits the frame regularly and was a distant second over C&D in April., before third of six beaten 6L in handicap chase here.
Beaten a short-head over 2m4f in a novice chase at Ludlow (good-to-soft) in January. Pulled up the last three starts.
Point-To-Pointer, third of 10, beaten 30+L last month at Trecoed. By Trans Island, related to multiple chase winner, Kanpai.
Made most to score at Plumpton last October and has been beaten in higher grade since. Still 6lb higher than last win.
Didn't do too badly over hurdles at Cork in May but didn't build on that and put in a pretty mediocre effort on first chase start at Clonmel last month, before 11th of 12 in Downpatrick handicap chase.
Course winner over fences over 2m but his last win came back in 2015 and the losing run is starting to extend itself. Has run some reasonable races in the losing run but often promises more than he delivers.
Three from 39 over hurdles and not won since his Irish days in 2014. Nought from four chase starts, though second of nine last day, beaten 6L at Hexham over 2m4f on good ground.
Finished a distant runner-up in a point-to-point in November 2015 but rules form for this stable has been poor, being a 13-race maiden.
Forecasts
Agentleman (7/2), Elkstone (9/2), Rhythm Of Sound (6/1), The Way You Dance (8/1), Aces Over Eights (8/1), Roman Numeral (9/1), Saffron Prince (9/1), Larkhall (10/1), Spock (20/1), Alices Man (28/1)
Spock could be the one to take the field along here, with Elkstone close behind. Preference is for CD winner, LARKHILL, who has run some reasonable races in a losing run, dating back to November 2015. Often promises more than he delivers, but could be best of a bad bunch here.
- Larkhall
- Elkstone
- Spock
