Won at Navan in November off a 9lb lower mark, but hasn't been able to replicate that form since. This trip remains a question mark for him (despite him coming from a pointing background), and he needs to show more to be considered for win purposes.
Course winner over shorter (and off only 4lb lower) last August, and doesn't appear to have an issue with faster ground having put in a fine performance on chasing debut at Ballinrobe last time out.
Returns from a fruitful chasing campaign and though he was held on his most recent attempts at hurdling he seems to be in great form and should enjoy the conditions.
Comes here in good form, having run well over fences recently including a victory at Ballinrobe last time out. Hasn't won over hurdles since May 2014 but should be involved if taking back to the smaller obstacles.
Better off at the weights with the reopposing Jefferson Davis compared to when he went down narrowly to that rival at Clonmel in May, but hasn't been able to run to the same level in three racecourse appearance since, and needs to in order to have a say here.
Beat Zig Zag narrowly two starts ago over slightly shorter at Clonmel, and though now higher in the weights could be able to hit the frame with a repeat of that performance.
C&D winner who is still 5lb above his most recent winning mark (at Downpatrick last June), and looks to require more help from the handicapper before figuring in a race of this nature.
This is a much easier assignment than when competing with the likes of Sizing John and Champagne Fever in the last year, but he still hasn't shown enough in those better races to suggest he can go close now eased in class.

Forecasts
Kilcarry Bridge (9/4), Zig Zag (3/1), Jefferson Davis (9/2), Bull Ride (13/2), Eight Till Late (7/1), Mr Mulliner (10/1), Bendanella (12/1), Golden Plan (16/1), Letter Of Credit (25/1), He Is Top Class (25/1)
A fair few of these return from chasing campaigns so it's difficult to gauge the form exactly, but EIGHT TILL LATE is the one who appeals most. He has been in the form of his life recently with some fine performances over the larger obstacles, and though he wasn't at his best over hurdles prior to that it may be worth chancing that with his confidence restored now he has returned to winning ways, we may see something like his best once again. Jefferson Davis needs to defy a recent rise in the weights but seems to be going the right way to do so, while Bendanella won at this course over shorter last summer.
- Eight Till Late
- Jefferson Davis
- Bendanella
