Bumper winner at Cork in August 2015 but hasn't gotten within 15L of a winner since going hurdling and has to overcome an absence since December.
No win over hurdles since 2013, and though that was off a much higher mark than this, he has tended to put his odd good performance in over fences of late, and seems to be slowly regressing.
Yet to get off the mark but her handicap hurdle debut last time wasn't totally devoid of promise, with this looking like it should be her trip going forward. Could also improve for the first time hood.
Took her form to a new level with a good second at Tipperary last time out, the best race she had run for some time. Her best performances have all come over staying trips though, so there would be some doubts about her having the tactic speed for this distance.
Didn't manage to build on a fine fourth on handicap debut at Wexford last time out, but may not have enjoyed the soft conditions. This test should suit her better in a race lacking any genuine class angle.
Not particularly impressive when last seen on the Flat at Fairyhouse last month, but has been in better form over hurdles and should enjoy both the trip and ground here off a mark that doesn't look unreasonable.
Remains an 11-race maiden but a close second on his most recent run over hurdles (last September) was much more like it, and with a recent run over fences to help with his fitness, it would no surprise to see him go well here.
Finished a promising second to a runaway winner at Kilbeggan last time out over much further than this (3m1f, soft). Remains on the same mark now which makes him appealing, though the drop back in trip is a slight question mark given his recent performances over this distance.
Has improved over hurdles recently, and, a tame outing on the Flat last time out aside, has shaped with enough promise on his first attempts over the smaller obstacles since 2014 to suggest that he should be capable of at least placing here.
Switched to handicap company (and is fitted with first time blinkers), having run races mostly of little account in maidens, and though an opening mark of 82 probably isn't insurmountable, he will be better for this first experience of a big-field handicap.
Returns to handicap company after another unsuccessful attempt at a maiden. Was pulled up on both previous attempts in this sphere and is now only 3lb lower, so another minor role looks likely.
Won off a mark 2lb higher than this just over a year ago, and may have needed the run after an absence last time out. The ground would be a concern, however, as all her best performances have come on yielding to soft or softer.
Has never finished within 20L of a winner and has looked even less appealing since starting off in handicaps, including a 43L beating last time. Step up in trip unlikely to make a difference.
Yet to record a first career win having only hinted at ability in the past. The application of first time cheek pieces would have to work miracles for her to get involved here.
Point to point winner who has failed to land a blow under rules in 23 attempts, with a first time tongue strap unlikely to change that. Third Reserve.

Forecasts
Se Mo Laoch (11/2), Colette's Choice (11/2), Cnoc Na Sioga (6/1), The Drunken Dr (6/1), Slaney Craiglegacy (7/1), Captains And Kings (8/1), Brooklynn (9/1), Royal Roslea (10/1), Glasson Lad (12/1), Catch A Lucky Star (12/1), Kentucky Lass (16/1), Brother Gold (20/1), Miss Mcilroy (25/1), Shantelle (25/1), Flemish Maid (25/1), Darkest Flyer (33/1), Oh'herewego (33/1), Take A Chance On R (33/1), Golden Silence (50/1)
It's possible to build a case against almost any of these, but maybe BROOKLYNN can get the job done. Christy Roche's mare ran a very eye-catching racing on handicap debut at Downpatrick two starts ago, and though she failed to build on that at Wexford last time out she may not have enjoyed the softer conditions, and is worth another try here off what looks to be a suitable handicap mark. Captain And Kings brings some of the strongest recent form to the race if able to prove that he can handle the step down in trip, while Slaney Craiglegacy may improve for the first time hood and is another for the shortlist.
