Two time winner this year, though those victories both came off much lower marks than this. It was seemingly more his jumping than the weight that let him down last time, though, and he could get involved again if improving in that area this time.
Sets the standard on the basis of a very narrow defeat at Roscommon last time out, when he was unlucky not to come out on top. A 6lb rise seems a little harsh, but the front two were clear and another bold bid should be expected.
Just behind Fridaynightlights at Kilbeggan in April and is better off at the weights with that reopposing rival today. More exposed than some of the contenders in this field but has shown she retains ability and shouldn't be discounted.
Slightly quirky sort who has shown plenty of improvement in recent months suggesting she is back at something like her best. Not beaten far at Bellewstown last time and is up only 1lb here.
Has run some consistent races recently without completely ruining his handicap mark, and this race may rate slightly easier than the contest he finished a fine third in at Wexford last time out (2m, good).
Makes his handicap debut in a first time tongue strap having found maiden company too tough. Opening mark doesn't give too much cause for hope, and he is best watched.
Well beaten on handicap debut at Bellewstown last time out when finishing a long way behind Maudlin Magdalen, and is very difficult to fancy having been dropped only 1lb.
Course winner who probably prefers the likely ground here to the softer conditions he has been running in of late, but will still need to put that recent form behind him in order to figure in this.
Veteran who has only raced twice since October 2015 and hasn't won since scoring on the Flat at Sha Tin in October 2011. Easily dismissed.
No win since May 2012 but his recent performances haven't been completely devoid of hope and it wouldn't be the biggest surprise to see him place on his return to this trip and ground.

The one who appeals most is MR MOONDANCE. This gelding has run consistently well recently and still looks on a workable mark despite an recent 7lb increase for winning at Wexford (and going up a further 2lb since). The form of his third at the same course last time would be enough to put in right in the mix for this even if he didn't improve, and it seems likely that he could do so again. Roachdale House ran a very good race to finish an unlucky second last time and the selection is only just preferred to Robbie Power's mount, while Fridaynightlights would be seriously feared if putting in a better round of jumping this time.
