Jockey booking is interesting with a very promising conditional taking the ride here for a leading yard here. Back to hurdles last time out over shorter here after a spell chasing and off a 2lb lower mark here and in with a chance if his stamina holds out.

Has shown better form since joining this yard having not stood much racing before and he didn't really need to improve on his previous two starts when winning over the furthest trip he's tried at Cartmel last time when a short-priced favourite. Will appreciate this trip and looks to have further progress in him as he goes handicapping for the first time in a race that looks any real depth.

Makes his debut for this yard after ending his career with Chris Gordon with a win on his penultimate run which ended a long losing run. Ran a sound enough race last time out back at the same venue (over shorter) and should go well here although the ground may be a little lively for him.

Consistent sort who ran well enough in bumpers and has hit the frame in all his hurdles starts and was behind Its Pandorama last time out at Cartmel although far from disgraced. Like his conqueror that day he makes his handicap debut today stepping up in trip and may do better although he will have had to have improved to reverse the form with that one.

A record of 1/25 over hurdles with the win coming nearly two years ago it's fair to say that his credentials aren't that solid. Looked as though he needed the run last time out over C&D but still hard to make a cogent case for him winning this.

Not a particularly inspiring contest with really only ITS PANDORAMA looking anything like progressive as he goes handicapping off a reasonable mark of 111. Schlipf could show more in his first handicap although he has ground to make up on the likely market leader with Dawerann another contender if he stays this stamina test. None of the others make much appeal although Letemgo could do well in Northern handicaps in time with some more cut in the ground.
