Has won four times around here, though never beyond 1m2f, stamina an unknown factor but will have every chance if staying the distance. On the shortlist.
Maiden winner at Cork in May and run well in both starts since, first over C&D when 2¾L fifth behind useful Sea The Lion and latterly when scoring gamely over this trip at Bellewstown eight days ago. Improving sort who commands respect.
Mostly going well this season, has a bit to find with Sandstorming on recent C&D run however and doesn't look likely to turn that form around.
Useful hurdler who won 1m7f Leopardstown maiden last month on first Flat start. Going to find this tougher seemingly but not discounted with excellent rider on board.
Winner of two from three starts this season up to 1m2f, stays this far and should be right in the firing line for this prize.
Already a three-time C&D winner, including last month from 6lb lower mark. Ran fair race over shorter since off this mark and should be competitive now back up in trip.
Well fended off here over 1m2f earlier in the month and looks to be a bit high in the handicap at the moment, hard to make case for the win here.

Forecasts
Sandstorming (3/1), Miles To Memphis (9/2), New Direction (9/2), Breathe Easy (5/1), Zeftan (5/1), Spruce Meadows (13/2), The Last Marju (16/1), Indian Tomahawk (33/1)
Jim Bolger's New Direction has been in super form of late, landing two of his last three starts and as a previous C&D winner he must be respected. Breathe Easy also loves it around here, with four wins already, and will be a serious threat to all if his stamina holds out over this longer journey. Zeftan has no such worries having scored over C&D on three previous occasions and while Miles To Memphis may lack Flat experience, he could have a say. SANDSTORMING however is improving as he showed when winning a week ago at Bellewstown over this trip. With the Lyons team operating at close to 25% recently, he is given the nod to take this prize.
- Sandstorming
- Zeftan
- New Direction
