Has run creditably on the Flat of late in a couple of AW events but isn't that well treated in this sphere. Tongue-tie goes on for the first time nut does have to overcome top weight.
Has been running over hurdles in the winter/spring and again turned in another creditable performance last time out when fourth in a better class race than this one. 4lb above her last winning mark but should go well back in this grade.
Certainly being given a chance by the handicapper and that showed last time out over C&D when he ran well without really getting into the race. Off the same mark here and can be given a chance if he can build on that run.
C&D winner and improved his record here on his final start of 2016 off a 2lb lower mark. Really has failed to find his form this season though and has struggled on both starts so far.
Receives a healthy weight-for-age allowance here from the older horses and has without doubt being in the best form this year. Only denied his hat-trick last time out when he was up in class after a 5lb rise and only beaten by a progressive rival. Will probably appreciate the further step-up in trip and an ease in grade and very much sets the standard in this small-field affair.
Not a particularly strong event and DOMINATING is the one who has the strongest and most progressive profile and looks to have a good advantage at the weights. Stoneham is a consistent sort and she runs well here and may take the runner-up slot with Buyer Beware and Yes Daddy battling it out for the remaining place.
