Course winner who also won at Chester last year when taking advantage of slipping in the weights and best at around 7f and looks to be working his way back to full fitness this year. Looked to have still needed the run last time out and drops in class here from his two outings this year.
All his four wins have come on the AW over 6f (first three wins came in a hat-trick in December/January) with headgear on. Showed promise on his first start for this yard (no headgear) on his penultimate outing over 6f at Salisbury and he backed that up with better run last time at Newbury (better than finishing position). Now tries 7f for the first time in ages and looks of potential interest here.
C&D winner and front-runner who may not get things his own way here and looks to be facing a contested lead from a wide draw. Won at Beverley in May (made all) and although he was a recent disappointment that run did come straight after an enforced absence for his yard.
Nicely drawn although not one to be front running so unlikely to make use of that draw and appears very out of sorts at the current time although he has won over C&D in the past.
Showed some form albeit if a low grade on his penultimate start at Ayr over a mile but failed to build on that last time out at the same course over a furlong shorter. Didn't settle fully there and remains a maiden after none starts.
Turned in his best performance last time out on his second handicap start at Ayr over 7f when a 66/1 chance. Gelded for the first time in that run he's still unexposed and if he can build on that given a different test here he has to be given a chance.
Broke a long losing spell when winning Lingfield on his penultimate start he like a few in this is a C&D winner. Looked to be rather harshly treated when raised 5lb for that last win and failed to cope with the mark of 51 last time out and he runs off that again here.

Forecasts
Inglorious (13/8), Fine Example (9/2), Born To Finish (11/2), Ralphy Boy (13/2), Cyflymder (7/1), Tellovoi (8/1), Echo Of Lightning (10/1), Slemy (10/1), Captain Peaky (12/1)
Not a huge amount of solid form on offer but with the likelihood of a decent pace it may pay to take a chance on BORN TO FINISH who steps up to 7f here after not being well placed over shorter last time. Echo Of Lightening could be better than he’s shown so far this year with Inglorious and Fine Example a couple capable of competing for the places.
